Thank you for your response and the extra information! From how you've described it here, this should be alright as a case-by-case exception, as it sounds much more similar to malleable protagonists from games like Dragon Age than it does the usual player-created OC in an MMO.
If you submit an application, including a reference to any canon material that supports the personality traits you chose would be very helpful. Since this is a sort of special request due to this app being an exception to a rule, I'll raise the limit on the strengths and weaknesses sections of the application for your app specifically to 400 words instead of 300 so you don't have to skimp on your trait explanations to make room for canon references. Just let me know in a reply to this comment which journal the application would be posted with so I know for sure it's yours!
