That shouldn't be a problem at all. There's no reason she couldn't make those adjustments. The communicators in Riverview aren't one set form, it's more like the modern world where you choose the device that you want to access the network with, and characters are also able to use desktop computers, etc. to access it, much like the regular real-life internet.

She is welcome to have anonymous postings without her actual identity attached. Burner devices with secondary usernames are also allowed and have been used by other characters (some of the superheroes have a second username/device for their hero persona, for example).
