Okay so this character here is an AI, and while I'm okay with him being humanized if he has to be, he's honestly going to prefer having a body he can hop in and out of at will. Something like a mostly human cyborg body that can maybe function on its own for periods of time while he's camping out in someone else's head.

To clarify, there'd be 'maybe' one or two people at most he'd do this with assuming they app in and it's canon specific. Is this a thing that's possible?
