Quick question about characters who have a canon bond.

Sylvie is widely regarded as a creation of Loki to the extent that when he dies her powers weaken. Is it possible to keep her power as purely hers in-game so that I can play her independently? Should a 616!Loki app I'd be happy to explore cr but I'd prefer not to have her dependent on another player's character and their ic actions, for obvious reasons.
