LOYALTY -- Billy is an extremely loyal individual. Once he’s on someone’s side, he’s not likely to leave it, unless said person does do something absolutely horrendous and destroys what bits and pieces of trust he has given to them. He wants to trust people. Given time, he’s shown to even trust individuals who he probably shouldn’t, and knows he shouldn’t. Once he has opened up to someone enough to give them that trust. He wants to stick by others’ sides, wants to believe in them, and to that end, has the tendency to be fairly loyal and trusting once he has gotten close to others. He’d go to the ends of the universe for his family and friends--heck, even further if that’s what it’d took to help them. As far as Billy Kaplan is concerned, there is no limits to how far he’ll push when it comes to protecting and helping someone close to him.

DETERMINATION -- There are few requirements to being a superhero, right? Some nice nifty abilities, or training under some guy in a batsuit with too much time and money on his hands. Maybe a nice armor suit. Billy has the superpowers down easy—but another trait he carries is his inability to give up. Once he’s got his heart set on something, he doesn’t let it go--not unless some universally changing fact comes along and proves he was undeniably incorrect.

STRENGTH OF HEART -- He genuinely cares about doing right by others, about helping people, about making sure everyone around him is safe; Billy isn't into heroism for the fame or attention (he's rather adverse to either, for that matter), but he wants to help. Even though he's a little. . weak on control of his capabilities, he'll do whatever he can, whenever he can, to help make sure someone doesn't get hurt.

● weaknesses: --
STUBBORN -- The flipside to his determination is that Billy can be extremely stubborn. He doesn’t give up on his ideals easily, and will often times deny another point of view because his is right. He will do what he thinks is necessary, what he thinks is right and will help--unless someone manages to prove him wrong.

WITHDRAWAL -- As strong as he is, there are things that even Billy can’t handle. And when he’s faced with those, he has the tendency to withdrawal from a situation rather than deal with it. He gets depression rather easily, has bouts of anxiety. He doesn’t think he’s good enough, and when something happens that Billy can’t handle, he shuts down. He won’t move, or talk, or look at anyone. His sense of self-preservation is off, too, which doesn’t help that at all.

SELFISH -- He’s a good person, really, he is--but Billy is still just a teenager. And teenagers have really shit ideas sometimes, like dragging in their boyfriend's dead mother from an alternative universe to make him happy because obviously, what boyfriend wouldn’t want that? Teddy would extremely appreciate having his mother around again, right? And he’ll love him even more for it. Billy will take actions that he thinks will benefit himself and those around him without thinking through the long term reproductions of said actions, or what the person he’s trying to help will think. He often puts his foot in his own mouth when he speaks, and is a little careless with his words.
