- Yukihiko is kind. Yukihiko first meets Ginji when Ginji is roaming around a cruise ship, looking for Ban, and getting increasingly worried because he's not present. Yukihiko's reaction to Ginji's distress is to approach him with two ice cream cones, claiming one was for his brother, who's disappeared on him. Since Yukihiko is well aware that he and Nastuhiko are one and the same, this is obviously just an excuse to comfort Ginji.
- Yukihiko is merciful. After Ginji is revealed to be part of the team after the "arms of the goddess," which the Miroku Protection Service has been hired to protect, Yukihiko's employer orders him to torture Ginji for information then kill him. Yukihiko, instead, dislocates all of Ginji's joints to spare him, then gets him away from danger when he has the opportunity.
- Yukihiko is professional. Once he has a job, Yukihiko will see it through. While he prefers not to engage in combat, telling Ginji at one point that he doesn't like to fight, he will when his job requires it. When Ginji continues on the retrieval mission for the arms (after having his joints popped back into place by Ban and Shido), Yukihiko finally faces him in battle and doesn't hold back.
- Yukihiko is strong-willed. While he is soft-spoken and prefers to avoid violence, Yukihiko has a force of personality greater than it seems at first. In the final arc, after Natsuhiko has taken full control and pushed Yukihiko back, Yukihiko responds mid fight by taking control again, stating that, as the Unification, this fight is his. Unlike in previous battles (and even earlier in the same one), his siblings do not take control or appear to be anything more than wells of information and training for him to draw from.
