● abilities: Ignis, as custom to the rest of the party, can summon a daggers and/or lance to his hands by Noctis' connection to the crystal. It takes allowance from someone from the royal line in order for him to do any of the following abilities:
Regroup - Warps all allies together in stalwart defense. Rescues from danger and restores their health quickly. Enhancement - Imbue a weapon with the element his target is weakest to. If the target is weaker to fire, Ignis imbues the weapon with flame. If the target is weaker to the cold, ice. So on. Ignis does this by breaking a flask and waving the magic towards the target, made possible by being trained in elemancy. It is assumed he creates his own supply of flasked spells on his own, but is still only made possible by Noctis' magic. Libra Elementia - Enhancement, but he breaks the flask and throws it in the general direction of the enemy. Sagefire - Unleash a devastating fire attack with daggers. He basically sets them on fire and runs at the enemy, setting them ablaze briefly upon impact.
Essentially, Ignis's techniques aid the player by healing, providing warp points, and bestowing elemental buffs. In combat outside of these techniques, Ignis varies from simply slashing through enemies in range to throwing weapon after weapon to those out of his reach.
● strengths:
Stalwart - Ignis is loyal to his companions and does everything within his capacity to aid them in their times of need. He is more physically than vocally inclined, likely because he does not have much to say aside from factual statements. When it isn't the time or place, he makes small gestures such as picking up items for other people despite them being capable, getting them back on their feet, and making the most of lighthearted times with puns.
Calm and collected - Ignis does express his frustrations with any situation to anyone undeserving. He keeps a level head when the stakes are high enough to drown others' reason, and doesn't lash out when others are more easily riled though he may not be at fault.
Humor - While he retains the role of caretaker, he is no longer as stoic and even strives to be beyond what he once was. He develops a sense of humor, making puns for his own self satisfaction, and jokes that he doesn't much care for his friends with no genuine disdain behind it. He expresses excitement, though mild, at discovering things such as new recipes. He prefers being in control, but reluctantly hands over his task at hand if others are insistent enough.

Little voice for himself - Because Ignis' primary concern is the well being of Noctis and others, he has not made a habit of expressing his discontent. In the wake of devastation to himself, he only is shown speaking out when it's created too much tension between his companions. He doesn't have commentary on his own thoughts unless it is musing on situations the group find themselves in, and only speaks first if it is to present information of what they're involved in.
Particular - While Ignis' precision in everything can turn the tide, he prefers life with no ambiguity. Anything but a full amount of clarity irritates him, and he fails to use spares of items that are out of the way to get back. He stresses more than he should when he isn't in control, despite the others' hands being more than capable to help.
Lack of reinforcement - Despite spending his entire life living the role of a caretaker, Ignis is not stern enough to rid of bad habits. He repeatedly reinforces the same advice to little avail, and finds himself cleaning up after things he claims no one will do.
● skills (optional): Outside of combat, Ignis has trained himself in a variety of things to sustain both himself and other travelling companions on the road. He hardly trusts anyone else to be the driver on their trips. He is an excellent cook, producing meals from both store-bought ingredients or meat carved from a slain beast. He is well read in various topics regarding their homeworld, providing warnings in regards to things like the dangers of travelling at night, or simply finding a plausible excuse to get them into a region they have not been before. He's insightful, and not only listens, but retains all of the information he collects (politics, physical combat training, mostly... everything) and applies it nearly flawlessly.
