● Cause: Beyond the perimeter fence a section of forest fostering the remains of an unknown structure or structures appears to be in a state of atmospheric flux. The weather there is unusual, in that it is contained to a very small area and almost never matches the brunt of weather around it. One could walk from fresh green grass and blooming flowers into the very heart of winter. There is a distinct line where the border of this anomaly ends. ● Objective: To find out the source of the anomaly, to discover whether or not the remains are of any use for re-purposing or expansion of the city itself. ● Dangers: Messing with the anomaly may be a danger in and of itself; is it magic? Science? The results could be catastrophic for the local flora and fauna living in and outside of the area. In addition, monsters and other such creatures have been known to make the area their home as well, adapting to the strange weather conditions in otherwise unseen ways. ● Requirements: At least one science officer of some type, at least three Perimeter Guard or other skilled fighters for protection. OPTIONAL: Surveyors to assess whether or not the area could become inhabitable, salvagers to break down existing structures for useful items or treasures.
